IIAHK Social Event in April 2025 – Volunteering at Animal Adoption Center in Repulse Bay

We are excited to invite you to participate in a meaningful volunteering event at the Paws United Charity Center in Repulse Bay. This event is scheduled for 27 April 2025 (Sunday), and we would be thrilled to have you join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our furry companions. Paws United Charity is a NGO in HK that provides rescues, rehabilitation and adoption for abandoned and homeless animals. (Website: https://pawsunited.org.hk/​ )

Event Details:

• Location: Paws United Dog & Cat Adoption Centre (Shop 209-10, 28 Beach Road, Repulse Bay, Hong Kong)
• Volunteering Activities: Cleaning, feeding, petting animals, and including presentation and talks plus training session with qualified dog trainer
• Time: AM Shift 10am – 2pm; or PM Shift: 1 -7pm (presentation talks and dog training session will be held during 1-2pm together with AM & PM shift volunteers)
• # of volunteers required: AM Shift - 7; PM shift – 7 (total 14 volunteers)
• Allocation of volunteers: 5 in Dog Adoption Center & 2 in Cat Adoption Center per shift
• Cost: Free

Volunteer Criteria:

We are looking for volunteers who are:

• Age 18 or above
• Caring and loving towards animals
• Willing to engage in hands-on activities, including cleaning, feeding and mingling with dogs and cats
• Comfortable with handling messy tasks, such as cleaning up after the dogs and cats

This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the community while enjoying a half day filled with compassion and camaraderie.
